This California model will include a magazine disconnect safety and loaded chamber indicator.
The SIG P320 line of firearms is a modular handgun system allowing the user to change any part easily with little no-how or tools. What is particularly unique is that the shooter can rapidly change the grip module between any combination of colors, widths, lengths, and materials (synthetic and metal). This means you can have one gun be your sub-compact, compact, and full size.
The SIG P320 more recently won the US Army's MHS program to replace the Beretta M9 for general issue service, beating out pistols from H&K, Glock, Smith & Wesson and Beretta. All four branches have followed suit and accepted the results of the MHS program. The official designation for the full size model is the M17 and the official designation for the compact model is the M18.
The P320-M18 striker-fired 9mm pistol is a compact slide counterpart of the full-sized M17. It features a PVD coated stainless steel slide with the same optic cut as specified by the MHS contract, it comes equipped with a SIGLITE front night sight, removable Night Sight rear plate, and a manual safety.
The optics ready slide accepts the SIG ROMEO1PRO, ROMEO2, DeltaPoint PRO, ROMEOX Pro optics, and the Holosun SCS-320 optic.
